PORTAL GUIDELINES FOR FRESH AND RETURNING STUDENTS
FOR FRESH STUDENTS
(A) Editing Your Profile
- Login to the Polytechnic website: www.rugipo.edu.ng
- Click Portal menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Click Login button for full-time Students.
- Enter your Username and password in the space provided and click Login button.
- Click on the “Edit Profile” menu on the left-hand side of the screen and update your personal data (e.g. Address, Phone, Next of Kin, Place of Birth, etc...)
- Upload your passport photo by clicking on the “browse” button and then selecting the photo file resident on your computer hard drive. Click VIEW to preview what was uploaded. (Picture size MUST be 30kb and MUST be in j.peg format.)
- Verify all information on the page and then click on the “Save” button at the top bar (Note: you might need to Logout and Login again to see your photo displayed at the user photo-section).
(B) Payment of School Fee
- . Login to the Polytechnic website: www.rugipo.edu.ng and then to the portal and click on the “Fees” menu. Verify that the Fee Schedule that you see is appropriate. If your fees schedule is wrong, please contact the ICT directorate for assistance in correcting it before going ahead to pay at the bank.
- Click on the “PRINT INVOICE” button to generate your school fees invoice.
- Go to any branch of either First Bank PLC or Skye Bank PLC or Wema Bank PLC or Enterprise Bank PLC Nationwide to pay your school fees.
- After paying at any of the banks, you will be given an Etranzact Pin Voucher (which will contain your Confirmation number and Receipt Number) that will be used to register your payment on the portal.
- Go back to the Polytechnic website: www.rugipo.edu.ng and then to the portal and login with your username and password.
- After Logging in, look at the left side panel and click on the “Fees” menu.
- On the Fees Page, scroll down and click on the “Pay Fees” button.
- By default, Etranzact payment option is selected, click on the “Continue“ button.
- Enter your Confirmation Number and Receipt Number and click on the “Submit” button. Afterwards, you will be notified if your transaction was successful or not.
- Return to the Fees page by clicking on the “Fees” menu on the left side panel.
- Scroll down and click on the “Print Receipt“ button to generate your school fees receipt.
(C) Course Registration
- Login to the Polytechnic website: www.rugipo.edu.ng and then to the portal with your username and password.
- Click on the "COURSE REGISTRATION" menu on the left of your screen.
- Select your level and semester(s) as necessary./li>
- Select the Courses to be registered for and click on the "Register Selected Courses" button.
NB: If you want to unregister a course, select it, and click on the “Unregister Selected Courses” button
- Click on Save to confirm the courses you have registered for.
- After it has been saved, click on STUDENT DASHBOARD on the left of your screen.
- On the STUDENT DASHBOARD. Click on the Print Course Registration Slip, to print out a copy of your registered courses.
- Produce three (3) more copies the printed Course Registration Slip (you can photocopy it).
- Proceed to Sign as indicated on the Course Registration Slip.
- Attach copies of you credentials and your admission letter to each copy of the Course Registration Slip.
- Enclosed in a file; submit a copy to your department, a copy to academic affairs office, and a copy to entrepreneurship centre (note: your original copies should remain with you).
FOR RETURNING STUDENTS
